Default Model 19 Classic

I imagine everyone has seen this but I have not so maybe I am not alone and I looked and didn't find a thread on it. No surprise that S&W finally did this and I think at a reasonable price, too!

I have bought exactly one "new" Smith & Wesson revolver. That one was a Model 19, no idea the dash number, about 35 or so years ago.

I might break down and buy another one now.

If you haven't already done so somewhere, would you mind sharing some pictures of it, and any thoughts or observations you might have? I'm thinking about getting one.

I did have a lengthy thread with pictures that I started about 3 weeks ago. It should show up if you do a search. Looks like it is on page 4 now in this forum.

19-9. S&W did a great job with the new classic model, IMO.

As if I needed one...but the idea of buying a new Model 19 that I can shoot without remorse appeals to me. Why, it takes me back to the days of yesteryear when I could actually order a new Combat Magnum just like Bill Jordan's.

Well, I put one on layaway today.

And the sights are straight.
