Default Curious Target Grips?

Has anyone seen grips like these? This is an extra set of "N" frame that came with a model 29 that I recently acquired. There are what appears to be three letters on the inside of the grips. The right grip looks to have three letters "RMN" and the left grip has "PHN".

I've never seen any like them.
To me, based on the distance from backstrap to frontstrap they look like something custom made for someone with REALLY long fingers.
