I like it, though would probably go with a regular hammer and cut for moon clips.

You really had a beautiful revolver built. It has to be accurate along with fun to shoot. Then there is the cool factor.

It sort of reminds me of a PPC revolver I picked up this past February. It was built from a Model 10-7 by Ken Eversull and seems to share some similar components to yours. Mine is a heavy weight as I imagine yours is too.

OH. MY. GOSH. If they made a movie about that gun it would have "franken" somewhere in the title!

40 years from, some collector will wail and gnash his teeth about the damage to the original, not appreciating this for what it does today for the owner who came up with the modifications to suit his needs.

Shoulda Coulda! Back about three years ago, there were a pair of all done up Model 10's in a local gun shop I frequent. I saw the pair RIGHT AFTER I had just purchased a nice 1911 from him. If I would have seen them first I would own the pair because they had been sitting there for about a year, and the oqner of the shop wanted to get them out of inventory. The pair was selling for $500.00! I was so close to just buying them and making something up to the wife but she always seems to find out....
