Trade
So this Old timer wants to trade me a 38 special for a judge the 410 but I don’t know anything about the 38 special I know the serial number is BSH3xxx does anybody know how to find out what year make and model of this gun is or tell me where to go to find it if so I would really appreciate it thanks

If it is a Smith and Wesson, it was probably made in the mid 1990's. It could be any of several .38 Special models. No way to tell without more information. There should be a model number stamped in the area of the frame that appears when you open the cylinder. Would help to know how many rounds it holds, barrel length, etc.

If you post some pictures of both sides and close ups of any identifying marks a lot of people here could probably help if it is not too customized.

That Judge was a 442. OP judge is a 410.

Wrong, The Judge was a Pontiac GTO of 1969-1971 vintage. Oldsmobile had no part of the GTO or Judge.
