Default Whats better than one rare CS1 2M?

Exactly, two rare CS1 2M.
One is kept pretty much original while the other was built by myself to my liking...a real multi purpose wheelgun for comp, SD and HD.
D/A brought down to around 7.5lbs, new thumb latch, SDM front sight and VZ grips.

Very businesslike looking pair of weapons! I know what a 686 is, but I'm ignorant about the designation. What does "CS1 2M" stand for, and how does it modify or change a 686? Is that a factory offering, or a trademark for a particular pistol smith's mods?
Thanks!

CS-1 is United States Customs Service. 2M is the recall number for the firing pin bushing having been completed.

Here is a good thread with a healthy doze of information on the CS1.
In a nutshell, they were made for the Custom Service. Around 5700 (3", 4" and 6" models) made it to the public. Rumors say they are better versions of the 686 (similiar to the DX models).
