Default Yesterday was an S&W Snub-nosed Day at the Range . . .

I've owned various 2" revolvers during my gun life, all them of the S&W variety. In 2008, I had not owned a 2" for over 15 years; I was just "into other guns". During that year, I came upon two Model 60s that were in outstanding condition and at very attractive consignment prices. Fast forward to 2016, I found a new Model 442 "no lock" at my LGS. The price was right so I bought it. I kept my eye open for a Model 642 "no lock" so I would have "salt and pepper" Centennials. Having not seen any "no locks" on the gun selves, I ordered one from Buds Gun Shop and took delivery from the FFL who received it for me a couple weeks ago. With so many .38s, I started reloading .38 Spl. again, and yesterday I was off to the range to try out the reloads and my S&W shorty revolvers.

All the revolvers shot well and functioned perfectly. Here is a photo of the "Quad Brothers". I like to keep the Model 60s looking retro with the Tyler-T grips . . . they shoot great, too.

From left to right, top to bottom: Mod. 60-2 NY-1 (1989), Mod. 642-1, Mod. 442-1, and Mod. 60 (1980)
