Default Dressed Up The 29-6

I bought a set of these grips for a 29-5 Silhouette gun I bought recently that came to me wearing a set of "not so handsome" Pachs. I was so pleased with the quality I grabbed another set for my latest 8 3/8" 29-6. The wood is black walnut from the hills of Tennessee. I really like the color, grain & most importantly the fit.
They feel good in the hand too, not quite as fat as S&W's target grips. I'll see later today what they feel like slinging lead down range.

Thanks Bob. They're made by an Ebay seller chris872 out of Fla. ( NOT Thailand folks) He's a disabled vet & makes them checkered as well. They're very reasonably priced too. That always helps.

That's the nicest looking black walnut I've seen (I like reddish hues in wood). Is it really that red, or is that a finish on it? Who made them?

When all is said and done, it is hard to beat walnut on guns.

I don't use Ebay, but I would to buy a set of these grips. Can you provide information on how to contact the seller, please? Thanks.

Thanks! There's no stain on the wood. I did soak them in Ballistol for a couple of hours. That stuff makes a good wood conditioner and darkens the wood slightly too. Look at post 3 for the maker.

I don't see a web site for the seller but here's a link to his Ebay store. You can see what he has in stock and may be able to email him and get the info you need.

Thanks for the offer but I like these just like they are. That Macaw of yours is great at making tooth picks but not so much at engraving wood stocks!!

Here's a shot of the set I put on the Silhouette gun. There were a darker shade.
