Dang...wish I could shoot a semi this well!
Broke out the 610 for a range trip today since it hasn’t seen the light of day in quite awhile. Shot 80 rounds DA at 15 yards(longest distance available at my indoor range of choice). Also found(and bought) a nice Chief’s Special I saw in the case on my way out the door. I’ll post about it shortly in the revolver section.
Second photo is 100 rounds .357sig through my P239 at same distance. In fairness, I was doing rapid fire drills with the 239 and 7 mags as fast as I could reload and the 610 shooting was slower and better aimed.

NO WONDER
You have app double the bbl length/sight radius with the 610. Although one of my best groups ever @ 10 yards is with the 239 in 40cal (all touching). That's the target I saved, VS the ones that were thrown away. I'd call it good enough for government work.

Looks like some pretty good shooting. I'm like Mr. Clark, I can do that too, if you move the target closer.

I love that 610 - I am fascinated by that gun, but can't quite come up with the justification to get one.
Nice shooting.

I hated my 610 until I sent it back to S&W, Now it's one of my favorites.

IF YOU WANNA SEE HOW IT'S DONE...
There's an old couple (even for Fl) that shoot 25 yards exclusively & both get groups similar to that offhand. He's tall & uses a 610 with a reflex sight. VERY friendly, let me shoot their guns & showed this "kid" a few things that helped greatly in a short time. If you ever get up to the Chazz... range in Weeki Wachi, they are there often.

I was actually surprised by the accuracy of my P239 in .40S&W. The target below is 40 rounds fired at 20 meters going for accuracy over speed. However, I never could warm up to it and haven't shot it in quite a while. When I get around to it I'm going to sell it. I also find that with my revolvers I am far more consistent where as with my semi's I tend to have good days and days where I didn't do as well. I thought I should add that the target below was fired seated, leaning back against the bumper of my truck, knees up supporting the pistol. My groups tend to increase in size when fired offhand.

I have an EAA Witness 10mm.. sends brass to another zip code..
Brass recovery will be my justification when I see a good deal on one.

My Delta Elite does the same thing. I shoot out in the woods, and I'm lucky to recover 50%.
And now that I reload 10mm, I'm seeing a 610 as a possibility.
