625-7 performance center....what is it? I can't find the value of it.
So...I bought this gun off the original owner and couple years ago...no case. Just the gun...like new ...but I can't find very much about it so I can sell it, because I'm trying to focus more on guns I can carry, and this 45 lc just isn't small enough to conceal very well...I found maybe 1 mention of someone buying one of this model about 10 otr 12 years ago...but I am trying to find out a more recent posting of one being bought or sold so I can get an idea of what to sell it for.

I'd say go ahead and find someone to trade it off for a 4" model or send her off to have a nose job... With a barrel of 3" or 4" it'll be a great carry piece.

I would NOT have the barrel cut and I am a known gun modifier. I don't think they are very common and the barrel profile would leave it heavy even chopped. Steel N frames are heavy. If you want big bore and light go to a 325 Scandium framed 45. Steel a chopped 1917 style gun with thin barrel.
I would guess it is worth north of a $1000 and possibly by a couple hundred or more.
Here is a modified 45 ACP "carry" piece made from a 1917 with a 1950 barrel and adjustable sights added and cut down butt.
and here is a 325PD Just 30oz loaded with 6 200gr hp and 6 spares round in 2 round clips

Contact Lew Horton with the serial number. There's a good chance it's one of theirs. They will hook you up with a free provenance letter with all the details. You can likely sell this uncommon collectable and finance two new carry guns.

Nice gun you have and not common. I have been wanting a .41 Magnum with that barrel profile for a number of years, but they are now north of $2000 when in top condition.
I didn't know they made one in .45 Colt. For the gun only, I would not let it get away for less than $1500.

There was actually an older run that was produced with the unfluted cylinder. Product code 170085. Great revolver. This first run in 45 LC was super cool, the one I bought from my dealer was serial number CLT0003. I like serial numbers so I had him check if CLT0045 was available and then I bought that one as well. I just like a 45LC serial numbered CLT0045
Actually as I think about it, I believe that both offerings were from RSR

I love the look of these as well. I grabbed the 41 Magnum when they came out. You do not see them up for sale very often.
Yeah, I know, time to pull them out and shoot better pictures with the new camera

It makes it tough to sell one like this, because there's not many and prices are hard to pin down for it...I know I want to sell it, but at the same time I don't want to look back and kick myself in the butt because I sold it to cheap...I know I'm not going to find another if I regret it.

It's fairly simple - list it here for what you think is a high price, and lower it until someone buys it. Good luck in your decision.
