Where to buy barrel nut wench/tool for 325? Also, leather crossdraw holster options?
I might buy a 325TR soon and would like to have a barrel nut wrench on hand in case it comes loose. I see there is one made for the TRR8, but I can't seem to find one for the 325TR.
I'm also looking for a leather belt cross draw holster options for it with the rail attached.

I have several 3 piece barrel guns, one of them a 325. If I wanted to get the barrel apart on one of them I wouldn't use a wrench even if I could get one. To much chance of messing up the rifling. What I would do is get some 1/4" brass square stock and some low melt fixturing solder that melted below 150f. plug the forcing cone with a small rubber cork or high temp silicon. Then stick the square stock in the muzzle and fill the barrel with hot solder. Cool and use the square stock and a wrench to remove barrel.
Way below the temps that will effect temper of even a plastic sight inset. To remove I would just stick the gun in boiling water and scrub the bore a few times with a brass brush.
Low melt solder is often used by machinist to stick small or irregular shaped parts to something easy to grip in a vice

You can’t buy a barrel nut wrench since that is a factory only adjustment. No doubt some aftermarket wrench will appear but this is a critical adjustment that done wrong could leave you with an expensive paperweight. I would think and hope that a Bubba adjustment would void the warranty.

Many tens of thousands of these revolvers with the 3 piece barrel assembly have been out there for a decade or more, the seldom come loose
However, all you need is an adjustable spanner wrench.
Most any well stocked tool store will have one or more styles available for sale.
In the unlikely event that it does come loose and you are going to re-tighten it yourself instead of letting the factory take care of it for you, you should buy some feeler gauges so that you can re-verify the Barrel/Cylinder gap before torquing down the barrel nut

Noney S&W shrroudewd barrels has such a nut. All of them need the tool that goes in the barrel and engages the rifling.
Why would anyone hope someone would get their warranty voided for working on their own gun and just what would be the criteria for voiding warranty if one works on their own gun, remove barrel? remove cylinder? Take of the side plate. Just where should the line be?

I appreciate the reply. It's true that they've been sold for a decade or more, yet people are still reporting loose barrel nuts and other issues in the past few years on various forums and seller websites. I'm considering the 325 for it's uniqueness, but I would rather not have to send in another gun to the factory for a simple thing like a loose barrel nut. I have feeler gauges, so I only lack the wrench. Also the tool contacts the inside of the barrel as well which a spanner wrench wouldn't do.
To a previous poster, EWK does sell a tool for the TRR8, but not the 325.

Just an FYI if you are unaware, if you plan to do any competitive shooting with this "rig", most all shooting competitions outlaw crossdraw holsters.

No competition, just occasional carry.

I don't think that would work with a 45acp barrel.

It only works on the 327/TRR8. I have all three, 325TR, 327TRR8 & the EWK wrench. It's too small for the .45.

Anyone have a 325 barrel nut they want to send to EWK? They told me via e-mail that they would make a tool for it if they could get their hands on a barrel nut. I havn't taken possession of my 325TR yet, but if the nut ever came loose I would just take it off and lend it to EWK so they could make a tool for it.
