Default New-To-Me Model 10-10

I picked up my latest Model 10-10 today. Serial #BDF4812 (1990ish). Brought back to the states by FW ARMS REDMOND WA. User ID # 13426 on white stickers on both sides of the frame. LGS guy commented that it has been carried hard! Most of the police revolvers have been. It arrived with a well worn set of rubber grips marked THRUSCH.

This makes number Six - one for each bedroom in the house! Time to quit buying Model 10's!!

That fine gun is certainly worth a visit to a gunsmith to have it both inspected inside and cleaned out. My casino 64s were in virtually unfired condition, but the innards were caked with hardened lubricant, which apparently passed for maintenance. Cleaning out the actions of this gunk resulted in 2 superb DA revolvers.

The grip suggests use by French police.

Went out to my range this morning and ran a cylinder through it at about 30 feet. Four rounds touching and other 2 off to the side a bit. Slightly low and left of the POA........... I'll have to spend more time at a longer range to see just what is happening.
