Default Mountain Gun 45 grips

I enjoyed all the conversations on MG45 Colts and many reference pulling the factory rubbers and replacing with real wood. This is the opposite that many of us did 20-30 years ago. My question is what grip do you really use to shoot with especially with MG with 255 loads? Pics appreciated.

All of my Mountain Guns wear the older factory Combat Grips.

The top two are chambered for 45 Long Colt while the bottom two are chambered in 41 Magnum.

This is my favorite grips for the N-frame revolvers with round butts. However as they become harder to find I have gone other routes.

I really like Hogues newer grips for the round butts. They fill the hand better then the stuff of a few decades ago. This Tulipwood example is on a 610 not a Mountain Gun, but you get the idea

Factory rubber for me.

My MG came used with factory combats. They were sold and made cost of the MG much better.

I personally don't like the way combats feel in the hand, and I carry and shoot mine often.
