Default What would be a fair offer for a nickel 581

Hey guys, I have recently become bored with semi autos and have jumped head first into revolvers. I currently own a model 60, 640pro, and a 3" 65. Yesterday I was presented with an opportunity to pick a nickel 581. I'm still playing the "what would you take for it" game with the owner. My question for yall is what would be a fair offer? Cosmetically its about an 8/10, the nickel is in good shape with only minor spotting. Mechanically its a 10/10 and appears to have been shot very little. Timing is good, no end shake, tight as a tick as they say. I was able to snap a few pics, they're not great but hopefully good enough. I don't believe the grips are original and there's no box. I'm considering selling or trading my 640pro to get this.

I'm thinking a nickel 581 is pretty uncommon; or at least the least common of the 581,681s.

But a 8/10 sounds like a "shooter grade" to me........... $500-600 as most folks who want a shiny shooter go stainless.

Agree with Bam-Bam, and probably Pebbles too.

I wouldn't trade a 640 pro for it, but I agree $500-600 is about right.
