Wouldn’t that date be 2000 on that particular revolver?

I think the ship date might be 2000, and not 1990. It is a -5, afterall.

I think there is also a good chance that it is a Lew Horton. Contact them. If it's theirs they will send you a free provenance letter. It's pretty nice to have.

What ever the case, I don't think many of these were made. This is the first 103840 I've ever seen. Though I have seen guns nearly identical. The MBK serial number prefix is something special, too. And you don't see a factory quad Mag-Na-Port everyday.
