Did the model 649, in the one piece box have a foldable insert in the box? It sure looks like it.
I just bought one, shipped August 1985, with the box but no insert. Does anyone have a insert that could provide me with a dimensional photo or drawing to create one? Or have a spare insert for sale?

The 649 I bought came with the insert, but I no longer own it. It would be the same insert that is used on a Model 60. Should be more than a few of those around.

OK, Now looking for a insert for a J frame 1985 vintage. Inside box measures (+-) 10 3/4 X 4 3/4 X 1 3/4. A full size copy of the flat insert would help me make one. I have had zero luck finding a used one.
Can anyone help?
