Default Model 29-3 6” 44 Mag Price Check

Overall good condition but rear sight needs to be replaced and grips are Pacmyer. What would be a good price?
Thanks.

Shot in the dark, but I would guess $550- $600.

Rear sight will run what $50-$75? Another $75/$100 descent grips. For a gun in good not excellent condition....

According to the book (SCSW4), Exc = $700, and VG = $600, with Good = $500.

You will have to judge the condition. If it is a 29-3E (Endurance Package) I would add 10-15% to those numbers.

I have had people tell me, if it is an N frame it is worth 500.00 regardless of condition. Not that I believe that, but if you have to put a couple hundred into a 500.00 " good" gun, I would rather pay a bit more than 700.00, and get a better grade example

I don’t know where people are buying 29-3’s for $500. I’d say at least $600-$650 with the work needed. A nice one is $850-$1000 around here.
