Default New to me 686 No Dash- Floating Hand Question

I was excited to find and purchase this 686 no dash CS1 revolver 4" barrel with the original box. I have done my research on the CS revolvers and have tried to read everything I can about them. The gun is in good condition. Timing and lock up are good. Has light handling marks only but does look like it was shot. I brought it home and took it apart to do a good cleaning on everything. I have never seen the Floating Hand until this revolver. At first I thought the hand was broken. Then realized that it was the infamous Floating Hand. I have read that a regular hand can be put in place by punching out the floating hand stud on the trigger. Is this something that I should have done to this gun if the timing and action are functioning properly like they are? My second question is I was thinking of replacing all the internal springs and the main spring since the gun has been used and it is 31yrs. old. Do you guys recommend this to be done to an older gun like this? Thank you as always for your input. I appreciate your time.

Depends on what you want to do with it. They are only original once

Goodness NO, don't replace a single thing.

In my opinion, if the DA and SA trigger both felt proper, normal and good and timing/lockup was correct then it's simply nuts to even be inside that revolver.

This is not S&W from 2018 where you have to do all the finish work that nobody in Springfield has half a clue how to do, you are holding real S&W quality that was done right the first time.

Put the sideplate back on and don't go back inside.

As long as everything is working properly, I don't see a need to change it. If you do need to change out the floating hand, it's a super easy trade. Once you punch out the pin, everything else is like all the other ones. The springs are probably fine, I wouldn't worry about them unless a problem crops up. Nice gun!
