Default Model 60 Range Report

Well, she shoots as good as she looks. SA, was sweet. DA trigger is OK. Not sweet, but will get the job done. No problems noted. She shoots to POA. I'm very happy with the repairs(I'll have to keep that gunsmith's number handy). If that guy out there who sold this to me is reading this, I say neener, neener, neener......(with my thumb on my nose and my fingers wiggling.). I learned a thing or two, gained some experience and have a nice model 60 no dash. I also put a 340PD no lock on lay away to go with the Crimson Trace grips. What? Like you all never bought a gun to go with a set of grips before?

Coffee table book came in handy.

Congrats on a positive resolution.
My 60m is a much later version than yours, but shoots very well.
SA is wonderful and DA is like any other J, not as good as a K or N.
I sent mine off to a local action wizard and he did what he could. It came back better but not what I would call a superb DA.
Enjoy it! J’s are/were, never intended as a DA target gun.

Yep. I might of liked the DA trigger better, if I hadn't just put the 327 down to cool off. I was spoiled at that moment.

Thank you. I like to think of myself as a bit of an artist.
I know. It's getting deep in here.
