Modifying K/L frame Hogue grips to fit N frame?
Howdy.
I have a spare Hogue Monogrip for a K/L frame (without finger grooves). I also have a 327 with the finger grooved-Monogrip. How can I modify the spare grip to fit the pistol (there is a gap where the handle widens to the frame)? Who makes grips without finger grooves for the 327?

Best to find a grip that fits it. With wood you can do a lot of things, but rubber doesn't take well to modifying.
If you could post a pic it would help us to understand where you are talking about.

Not stock grips, pushed forward and seated as best they can

Cannot get the flush fit of the Stock grips. Hogue doesn't make any grips for the 327 (or N frame as far as I know) other than the ones that come on the gun stock. I cannot find a set of wood grips without finger grooves that aren't the checkered style I have on my 686.

If you like wood, Ahrends makes their retro banana grips (or tactical, can’t remember). I have several sets for K/L and N frames. Here’s my 627 UDR with two different examples. Search for “gripseller” on eBay.

Lol. What color of wood goes well with a matte black revolver? Not to be snarky but can't think of anything that would go well unless they make black stained wood.

You’re in Luck!
They do make them in maple with a satin black stain finish.
Here’s an example of the maple with black stain.

If you look here under N frame they make many different styles with or without finger grooves in a variety of materials from rubber to G10 to hardwoods.
Grips for Smith & Wesson - Handgun Grips - Hogue Products
If you don't mind a hard grip they do make a black g10 for an N frame round butt that might look good.
