Default 29-2 and ampersand &

Sorry, put this in the wrong place. Will repost in correct place

Hello All,

Continuing my quest for a very clean 29-2, blue, 6.5.

Found a few on GB.

One thing I have noticed is the ampersand on the Smith & Wesson on the barrel.

Some of them are perfect, others look like a 4 year old did it. They are crooked and not in proportion.

So is it that some are good or some are bad? Or is there something not quite right with the crooked ones.

Thanks for your time,

Varooom

Do a search on "the lazy ampersand" this subject has been discussed much on here. I find no big conclusion was reached and the lazy ampersand is usually found on older guns. No big rhyme or reason.
