Default J frame aftermarket hammers?

Does anyone know of any aftermarket J-frame hammers? Apex makes drop-in spurless hammers for L/N frames, but not J.

I'm missing my 649, so I am thinking of setting up a spurless 360 as a backup. I know I could simply cut the spur off, but if there was an aftermarket hammer option then it would allow me to retain the original equipment.

You could use a Factory Model 317 hammer

While not spurless, it is more compact than the one that shipped on your model 360

You can purchase a replacement OEM hammer for your 360 from Midway. As of this writing they are listed as in stock for 47.99. That way you can mod your 360 as you wish then return it to factory configuration if/when desired.

I did something similar years ago with a 637-2. I did not completely remove the spur, but I shortened and reshaped it to provide a more rounded profile. The result reduced the chance for snagging during a draw but still provided good purchase for thumb cocking.

I had also purchased a replacement hammer to swap back (just in case) which still resides in my revolver parts box to this day...
