Smith model 25-15 rear sight
I’m looking for the whole rear sight assembly for the above mentioned revolver, I see brownells has one with white outline mfr # 223310000 which is out of stock but I can order it. Height of the rear blade is .146. Does this sight sound correct?

It does sound correct. Why don’t you call S&W and order it from them? I have had good luck with parts for recent revolvers.

I have several guns, just want one in reserve preferably white outline that doesn’t look too white anymore.

Then why not just get yourself a sight blade replacement kit?
Last time I needed one, it was $11 directly from S&W. I think they are still under $20

I’m thinking about that although it looks like a pain to do. I’m also not sure about the height of the blade , asked smith n wesson earlier and they didn’t know either. I’m guessing it’s a .146 but it’s only a guess.

You don't say what bbl. length it is?
My 25-13's (5" bbl.) rear sight blade is .130" tall (likely a .126").
S&W should have been able to look up the blade's PN# & then relate that to a size.
S&W PN#, blade only:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
040760000 = .126" tall
059000000 = .146" tall
040780000 = .160" tall
.

When the front "Patridge, Gold Dot Instert" profile front sight came off 3 separate times when practicing my presentation/drawing my M625 from a Belly Band/Athletic holster.I was using as my Woods Carry holster when Kayaking/Fishing/Hiking... This was something that should not have happened when presenting from a mesh material. I called up S&W customer service and told the rep what was happening and asked for the product code for a ramped orange insert of the proper height. He right away got one out in the mail to me, free of charge, and was to me by the weekend. I installed it along with a new roll pin and never had the missing front sight problem again.
Call Smith, chances are, you'll have one right out to you and maybe even free of charge. This has been my 3rd experience like this with Smith Customer Service!
Pic of ramped sight after install.
Pic of stock Patridge front sight that kept snagging/popping off under presentation. The sight was really quick to pick up a target though I must admit. But only for range use IME, not something I want to carry for defense with a Patridge sight.
