I took my 686 pro series back to the range last Saturday along with my Tavor.
It's been raining all the time here lately. When it's not raining, my ears hurt.
When I got off work at 0800 last Saturday. I was way to restless to fall asleep. I didn't had to work go until the next morning. The weather wasn't that bad and my ears didn't hurt that much. I thought better now than never.
I had a 3 year old 20 round box of 223.
I had 100 rounds of Remington UMC 38s
I also had some older 357 Magnum. Only 14 rounds left.
I started off with 4 rounds from my Tavor at 50 yards. All 4 hit towards the left of the center of the target. I took a picture of it. It's the one with the target pinned to the particle board. I fired off 2 more after I checked where my bullets was hitting.
Both hit just left to the center of the target.
After that, I opened it up. Every shot was a miss. Lol. But rapid firing my bullpup rifle sure was fun.
There was only 20 rounds and this was the first time in two years I actually fired my tavor. I'm going to buy some more bullets to practice with my rifle later.
The real shooting was with my 686 plus pro series at 25 yards. I took it slow and steady. I fired off one or two rounds until I found where my bullets was going. This time I brought a tool with my to adjust my sights.
I made a huge improvements over my last trip to the range. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I had some flybys.
Towards the end of my day at the range. I fired off 14 rounds of 357 Magnum. I fired 2 into a target I already shot up. I switched to a fresh target and fired off the rest.
I giggled like an idiot every time I fired off a 357 Magnum. It brings a smile to my face every time I see fire come out of my gun.
