Default Model 617-3

Found this one at a LGS and had to have it. I believe the hammer and trigger are MIM but at least it doesn't have the lock. The lockup and timing are perfect and the target hammer and trigger feel good. I took the factory rubber grips off and mounted a set of VZs that while the fit isn't perfect they feel great. I've owned a couple of K22s and Model 17s but this is my first 617 and if it shoots as good as it looks I'll be very happy.

Very nice looking 617. I'm sure you will get a lot of use to it and will enjoy it.

I really Love my 4" 617. I installed a Vortex Reflex Sight and now it's a Hoot to Shoot. What a GREAT 10 Shooter

Default 617-3

That is a very nice looking revolver. They are terrific shooters. You will really enjoy it a lot. I've got a 617-4 with 8 3/8" barrel that is deadly accurate. It gets a lot of attention when I take it to the range but then I think that's true of any long tube.
