Default Model 63 2" prices

Haven't been to a gun show in a while and some of the prices I am seeing for these guns amazes me.
Are gun show prices around and surpassing the 1k amount for these things? GunBroker seems to agree.

Hmm.....I looked at one this past spring at the Tucson Expo gun show. Not mint condition, but pretty close to it. I passed on it at $700.

One sold on GB about 3 weeks ago, very nice, brought over 1500. One NIB will bring close to 2500. The price of poker has gone up, way up.

Interesting. My kids love their 4”.
I wonder if there is some nostalgia driving up the prices.
$1200 seems steep to me.

The four inch Model 63 is a commonly encountered variation....
The (pre IL) 2" snub not so much and easily fetches north of $1K.

Oh I need to clarify. My kids love shooting theirs.
I cant ever imagine my kids selling it. And if they did I would assume would pay dearly to get one back.
The 2” being the rarer version tacks on a premium. Nostalgia gets pricey

I saw one just recently listed for $1350. It hadn't sold yet.

I got my 2" 63-3 for $595 a few years ago. I probably shoot it more than any other .22 I own. As much as I like it there is no way I would pay $1,200+ for one. That being said, I wouldn't sell mine for less than $1,200 either.

Mine is also the only one I've ever seen in person.

Default 63-3 2"

A question just a "little" off topic(63 2" price) ! Does anyone know the quantity made of both versions! I have a Lew Horton and a standard production 63-3! The ONLY difference is the box end label! The book states "special production" of 1000 in one place in 1991 and in another place 500 for Lew Horton(product code 10240! The standard production(product code 104000) ran for 7 years.
