Hello everyone I came across a fella in Quebec that is selling a 581 with a 4inch bbl vg+ for $400 cdn shipped. I haven't seen one of these in real life so I jumped on it. Probably won't get it till the new year but I'm a big boy and can wait. Here's a few pictures of it. Merry Christmas to you all.

Was wondering if handgun prices tend to run lower in Canada because of what I would expect to be a low demand because they can’t be carried around on your person or used to hunt with?

The reason it is so cheap is it is a prohibited handgun because the barrel is under 4.25”. The liberals years ago brought in the insidious firearm law. So any prohibited handgun can only be sold to others with a 12.XX firearm license. If the owner dies then said firearm will be confiscated and sent to smelter
Or they can pay to install a longer barrel and switch it to a restricted category and then can be sold to a restricted license holder.
There are a ton of really nice prohibited handguns up here and I’m glad to see this one get a new home
You should see the difference in price between a restricted Python and a prohibited Python.
