Default Year of production 617 Eurosport
Hi all,
Just purchased a beautiful 617 here in the Netherlands. Can anyone help me with information on this gun? Was this indeed a limited production with the non fluted cylinder? I can’t find information on the term ‘Eurosport’. On the right side is also ‘Akan’ engraved. No idea.....
The serial number is BUE9255. What would be the year of production of this gun?

The prefix is from 1995. It is one of the Europe-only export models from that era, usually laser engraved with a "Sport" or "Hunter" mention. I believe the "Akan" refers to the importer. Cool gun!
