686-4 with stainless trigger and hammer ??
Was the 686-4 ever offered with stainless or hard chrome hammer and trigger. ?? I have never seen any 686-4 with anything but case colored hammer and trigger. Any comments or information is appreciated.

No that I ever heard of. Like you, I have only seen the -4 with cch finish. Flash chromed were -3 and earlier.

It sure was, check out the 686-4 Lew Horton Carry Comp/Mag Comp. Beautiful gun, sure would like to land one one day!

This PC 686-4 "Light Magnum Hunter" has the flash chromed trigger and hammer.
The 8 3/8" on top is a -3. The 4" is a -4.
