s&w .38 spl HELP Please

I have inherited a S&W .38 spl. revolver snub nose? (barrel measures 1 3/4". model 36, serial J733808. and it is a hand ejector, and I see 3 screws. this was my dads pistol and he has dementia and cannot tell me anything about it. can anyone help me i.e. age, value, etc. I have fired it and I love it. I would appreciate any help from you experts

You are in the wrong forum - should be in "S&W Revolvers: 1961-1980". Your guns appears to be a Model 36 Chiefs Special dating from about 1979-80.
