Default .357 get-together

Was moving some things around in my safe, and realized I hadn’t had these together since adding my latest.

Below from Left to Right:

M13-4 ... M19-4 ... M65-3 ... M66-5 ... M686-6+

There’s also the Henry in .357 (below)

I’m kinda thinking a 586 might be next on my list.

Who else can’t get enough of this caliber?

Very nice family! How about giving us a range report with a target from each pistol and the rifle?

... going through some pics, I found two. (M19-4 and M65-3)

A 50 round box fired double action from 5 yds for each:

I have two carbines and 7 revolvers in .357. I need to take a family picture.

IMHO, the .357 magnum is an excellent and very useful cartridge. For CCW to deer hunting, this cartridge gets it done for me. Around our farm, hunting shots are seldom over 100 yards so carbine in .357 makes a great deer rifle. I usually carry a large frame .357 when working around the farm. This cartridge is easy and cheap to reload. There are revolvers like the 640 Pro for CCW.

Given how things are going in this country, I made the decision a while back to make sure I had enough reloading components/ammo to last the rest of my life. Standardizing on a few calibers like the .357 make this easier.

357's? Yeah count me in gents. No J's, but plenty of K's, sprinkling of L's, and a trio of N's. Love shooting my Henry too. Can't think of a better all around cartridge.
