360 impulse
Never have owned a J frame and had been thinking about one for some time as a carry piece. Last night while checking all my emails from all the gun pushers I subscribe to, Palmetto State armory had as a daily special the 360 with the FDE grip for $499. I had to go to S&W's web site because I didn't even know what a 360 was! Bud's was $658 and grabagun $641. Out came the credit card and ordered one. Couldn't stop myself...

That's a great price, I carry one in a Harry's holsters IWB. My guess is that you won't like shooting hot .357 loads, I practice with tame 38 Special.

I reload and got some 140 and 158 grain hollow points to play with. I'm thinking FTX or gold dots over 900fps should be stout enough and shootable.

360 impulse
Great deal on that little blaster. A nice catch. Congratulations! I have the 340PD and love it for carry when I feel the need for a small, highly concealable gun. I normally carry it AIWB in a Sticky Holster. Did I say I love it for carry? That’s true. Do I love shooting it? Not so much. I have a box of full power 158 gr 357 mag rounds with 45 rounds in it. I shot the other 5; that was enough. Later, after some feeling other than pain and then numbness in my hands returned, I happily shot a box and about 2/3 of 148 gr 38 special wadcutters. No problems there. I love the gun because of the extreme light weight; 11.4 oz loaded and I really like that big fiber optic front sight. I carry Hornady Critical Defense 38 + P rounds in it though.
