29-6
I've been so wrapped up in posting and talking about the OD I just got I forgot to post the 29-6 that I got at the same time.
The revolver is about as close ANIB as anyone could ask for it shows no wear with only the slightest turn line. The only thing missing in the box is the plastic centering cone that goes through the trigger guard.
I haven't decided if I'll leave the Hogue grips on it or not.
I know that's the way it came but I'm a big fan of rubber grips.

How do you forget about THAT?? That's a beauty you have there. The 29-6s were very accurate and well built revolvers. I think you might just enjoy that one. Congrats.

andy52, I really like your 5" -6 Classic. I got one myself about a year ago, but with no box for a decent price. Mine came with the rubber grips but I'm not a big fan of rubber on my N frame guns. So I got with John Culina and got a set of his round to square conversion targets in Bubinga wood on mine.
Here is how it sits now. I also shoot it with those stocks too, as I find that John's stocks fit my hand so well that I don't need the extra cushioning of the rubber stocks.

Very nice! The 29-6 seems to be showing up all over recently. They are excellent revolvers and IMHO one of S&W’s best. I enjoy the heck out of shooting mine and it’s accurate to a fault.

Hey OP, do you still want to keep hogues on yours? Very nice 5 inchers, both of you. Culina’s targets in bubinga or cocobolo look amazing on blued guns.
Here’s their cocobolo round to square conversion on a 25-13 for comparison

There's a very good possibility that I'll get a set of wood grips for it I just haven't decided which ones yet.
The revolver will probably be used to shoot more .44spls then Magnums so the rubber isn't that much of a factor.
