This is a very nice revolver here and if it were mine, I wouldn't take anything under $500.

I’d say 500 is fair for buyer and seller.

If it was pre mim I would pay $500. Especially if it was a -5 round butt.
$450 doesn’t sound so bad to me for that one

Is this the final form before The Lock?
Very late wood and the barrel info is all on the right. But it seems in fine shape and has those Uncle Mike's grips. Maybe $450-500, more in CA.
Sorry that your dad has to sell it. I hope he finds a buyer at a fair price and that he isn't selling due to a health problem.

This. I think you may have to be logged in to search completed auctions.
Without looking, I'd imagine you could get $600 if you are patient, $500 is probably fair and reasonable, $400, and it would move very fast.

Interesting. I have a 65-6 except mine is a 3”. Kind of wondering what it would bring too.

The 3 inch brings a premium, at least $100 more

A real while back, I sold a 65-1 that I bought new for 135.00 OTD. Now there was a real mistake. I shot that better than or as good as anything I ever owned. Would like another

I think it would sell quickly at about $450. This was one of the laser engraved barrel guns absent the usual rollmarks on both sides.

Thanks for the comments, compliments and help. I have listed it on a local forum for $500 to start with. I could get it for beans, but I'd like my Dad to recoup some funds. I am more of a 686 guy.

I made a booklet of all my guns for my Son to have when he inherits all my firearms. All information was listed, future values are set 10 years from now. After I die he gets it all. This is one page from the booklet. This is on my Model 65-1.
