Default My First 66

This is my first win on Gunbroker, a 66-2 in 2 1/2 inch. It was a Louisiana State Police issue. The owner was a retired trooper. In case the picture does not show it,it is stamped LA. ST. Police on the left side. The grips were made by a retired Lieutenant.

Mighty fine revolver right there. I have a 66-1 that I SHOULD carry more but it generally stays packed in the safe

Congrats and enjoy!

Cool find, with the Louisiana state police stampings.

Nice grab. Really nice old cop gun. The 2.5 inch 66 is just about the perfect revolver for concealed carry or home defense. It’s no wonder that so many LEOs were equipped with this revolver back in the day. I pack mine in a Miami classic shoulder rig.
