Default 629-5 but really a scope ring question

Last week I bought a 6.5 inch 629-5, nice but nothing special. With it came a scope mount with rings with S&W logos and I don't think I've ever seen one before. S&W logo on top of each ring. Only other marks/stamps are on the underside of the base; 1904 and AUSTRALIA. Did S&W ever sell scope rings with logo, or maybe a special issue revolver with scope with logo marked rings, or maybe something unique to Australia? Don't think I've ever seen this before and thought I'd check to see if anyone else here has. Thanks.

I saw a set of rings here on the forum recently with the S&W logo. Can't recall which thread so not much help to you there. I will tell you not to sell your gun short. That's a laser beam of a shooter. I bought a dash 4 years ago and has become my most accurate gun. Start pumping a few hundred rounds through it and you may become 'besties'!!

S&W did offer them for sale. They are S&W branded Tasco World Class rings and mounts. B square also had the same mounting system at one time. I can't confirm those were Tasco manufactured, but I'd guess they were.

S&W part number for the silver is 191270000

They were available in blue, not sure of the part number for those.

Good info, thanks much. Wonder why they would be stamped Australia on the bottom, maybe manufactured there?
