Default V-Comp, pic w/o compensator & false muzzle cap

I am seriously considering purchasing a 629 V-Comp. Couple of questions:

1. Can anyone post a pic of a V-Comp without the Compensator and False Muzzle Cap in place?
2. Is there any reason why a gun canít be carried and shot without both in place? If one is not going to shoot with the compensator, why put on the cap? Is it just aesthetics or is there a real fundamental reason for replacing the false muzzle cap?
3. Back to point 1, Iíd really appreciate a pic. I have scoured the web and cannot find a pic or a v-comp bare naked up front. No local retailers carry this gun in inventory.
