Default "DID I DO GOOD?" thread..........

Yep, I know we all pretty much hate the, "Did I do good?...." threads, but I have to ask: Did I do good on this 1996 60-9 for $350 OTD? The Grashorn Elk grips were not included, but the factory rubber grips, box and docs were. What say thee?

Sure. IMO, any version of an M60 in decent condition for under $400 is a good buy.

You should have held out for Registered Magnum #1 and not paid a dime over $300.

You know you did, if it works at that price you did good, rub it in. I felt very lucky getting a Model 28 for $450 and that may have been 10 years ago. May you and your heirs enjoy your bargain. I may know a bit how the collectors in California feel.

I trust it wasn’t a difficult decision to make.

It was surrounded by the all-hallowed polymer framed ilk. On request, one of the sales guys got it out of the case for me and another "expert" came over and asked me if I had any questions. The answer, "Nope" just want to buy it. The shop I found it in is HUGE and stocks/sells about 90% semi-auto pistols and AR types. This thing could have been in the case for who knows how long - of no interest to most who frequent the place.

I would tell you the part about the guy who went into the back to get the box, etc and apologized for taking so long because he couldn't find the magazine(s), but there is no way you would believe me...….but it would be a true part of the story.

You should have sent him back to look for the choke wrench.

You might want to follow up with the seller and make sure they weren’t having a stroke at the time...

If not, their loss! Great price.
