Default Custom Grips for S & W

Apparently, Kieth Brown will be making no more grips. What other makers are there of equivalent quality??

My understanding is that Keith Brown has stopped accepting new orders to catch up on his backlog. Beyond that, I don't know what the future holds for him.

I can recommend Spegel grips from personal experience. I have a set of his J-frame boot grips and they are great. Last I heard he was quoting about a one-year turnaround time.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but I've liked what I've seen from BluMagnum Grips. I don't know what their turnaround time is.

The primo triumvirate of S&W revolver grip makers are Keith Brown, Craig Spegel and John Culina. Keith is no longer accepting orders. Craig is working off a list that as of 06/2019, was two years long - no idea if that lead time has been reduced or expanded. John is taking orders and may have some inventory. Next best thing is if he has the blank needed for your order and worst case scenario is if you have to wait for them to make blanks. Lead time could be from weeks to months. The upside is that John's wife, Jennifer, runs the front end of the business and is a pleasure to deal with. I have two sets of stocks on order with them now.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

My favorite set made by John Culina. Sorry about the rotation.
