Even if it had a box and all the goodies that would about 500 to high.
I paid 1295 for this one about two years ago.

There have been many people sucked into the LH black hole
Sadly, someone will buy it.

It’s just like the EBay sellers with numerous factory combat grips for sale....... every pair is listed as rare, LH grips.

*WHEW*
I bought one from a friend in the late '80s or early '90s for $325. Nice gun, but on my hip it saved nothing over a 629 with the same barrel.
Reminds me, I recently found an old coin safe in a box of family stuff. Nothing in it to make my retirement, but all interesting. Fiver were 1939 no-mint-mark nickles. One guy online said they were extremely rare and was selling his for a mere $30,000. Sooo, I emailed him to ask if he was interested in buying mine, at any price. Never heard back.
In a way, I hope the seller gets his price. I'm thinking such profligate spending will up the price on mine, not that I any interest in selling it.
I think it would be interesting to know something about the person who would buy it at that price.
Thanks for the responses. You all confirmed my suspicions.

Well, I guess $800 wasn't too high for the one I bought last week, even if the front sight had been replaced, and it didn't have the original grips. It did have the box and papers. Tag on the box said "Lew Horton 1 of 250."

I mean, it's a -6 with the lock and all, but still I didn't that was a bad price for a 3", N-frame. I already had the Altamont "Cokes."

Had a 3" in the 80's LNIB and let it go then I purchased a 4" from a District Attorney at a show. It had been to the famous 300 Gun Smith Shop for tuning and was so sweet. Let that one go too like a dope! Wish I still had both of them but I would never even think about one at anywhere near that price.
