I have a friend in LV that inherited a SW revolver. He asked for any info I could find on it. He sent photos the revolver including the serial number. I can't find the number in any SW book I have.

This is a 3" bull barrel model 36 that (according to the three-letter SN prefix) appears to be from mid-1994. If he opens the action he should see MOD 36-8 laser engraved on the frame under where the barrel threads in. similar to how the SN appears.
