Default 657???

Does anyone know if S&W made a 657 with the interchangeable front sight? I have the 6 1/2" model with the un fluted cylinder, which I believe is the classic hunter, but it has the fixed red ramp. My eyes really like those fiber optic light pipes..

Yes they did

However the 657 Classic Hunter that you own has a pinned on front sight. If you look at the image below (I know I need to re-shoot it) you will see a tiny black dot just under the front sight, that is the pin. Your local Gun Smith should be able to install the sight of your choice in about 30 minutes

I do realize that the sight can be changed by a gunsmith. However, I'd rather keep mine original, and get one with the interchangeable front sights. I have a few others that have those, and was thinking that it was the classic models, but I might be confusing those with the classic deluxe models.
