36-1 637164 ...date & is it a Chief's Special? .38 ss

29 AHR1991 ...Gun Digest valued at $2k?? nuts, right? .44 blue

686 ADY3498 ...no "M" .357 ss I contacted S&W to see if the recall on this one would still be valid...(read about that on this forum so THANKS for that!)

36-1 Chief's Special comes back to 1955 probably, maybe 54.
29 comes back to 1985 probably-maybe
686 comes back to maybe 1985, or maybe not.

Model 29 is a 3 digit ss# prefix so unless it is something
Special $2000 is very high.
But they were your dads guns and may be worth way more to you.
