Default 25-11 Price Check

Yea, I know most of us are not huge fans of the price check threads, but...…

Wondering what a decent price may be for a 25-11 (part of the Heritage series), no lock that is NIB. All the "stuff" and appears to be unfired, or fired, very, very, very little, no discernable turn line or other wear indicators. Give me your best "back of napkin" thoughts around what a decent price would be for one. This does NOT have the color case hardened frame which deducts some price/desirability, at lest in my mind.

Thanks in advance!

$1000.00. A lot of people think I'm high on these, I wonder why they don't sell for more.

Thanks BB! You are spot on and within $5.00 as it relates to the one that has caught my attention!

I am a BIG fan of the Heritage series.

However, $1000 would be my upper limit for one of the blue ones, but I would go higher for the Color Case Hardened finish

Love those big 45 Long Colt chambers

Yep, completely agree! The CCH adds another $200 or so...….at least to me. Sort of hard to beat a nicely blued, round butt, .45lc!! At $1,000 or so, that is nearly what they sold for new. Considering inflation, they are actually cheaper now than they were new. Given that I don't see many come up for sale, I'm quickly talking myself into it!

Here's the yin and yang:

I see people posting all the time recently about problems with their new $800.00 S&W whatzit. For $1000.00 you get one with a great fit and finish, and no lock - which doesn't bother me, but drives some people out of their mind. Probably easier to resell.

If you buy it and post about it, someone will tell you how they just bought one for $5.00. Will that drive you out of your mind?

You can always offer less and come up.
