.17 HMR S&W Revolver??
I just got my latest copy of the PA Game Commission magazine, The PA Game News.
In the Lock, Stock, and Barrel section they highlighted the .17HMR.
Now, being a hunting oriented venue, the writer talked about rifles, and hunting game with them.
I am aware that Heritage Arms makes a single action revolver in this caliber, and Ruger still makes a Single Six in this caliber (I have one from circa 2004)
Did Smith and Wesson ever chamber a revolver in this caliber?

OK, thank you.
It's different looking, but probably practical in it's application.
The .17HMR wasn't made for plinking empty soup cans.

Lately I’ve seen 17 ammo on almost bare shelves.

Here's my 647; don't see them very often. Since this picture I removed the scope and put the rear sight back on. . . .now resting in its box. Not all that practical to shoot as far as I'm concerned, but may have a little collector interest over time.

Yes, same here. I was surprised to find that.
I picked up a few boxes at pre-pandemic prices.
I have a 77/17 as well as the aforementioned Single Six.
