I have a new 5" 686-6 (Talo) that I've been dry firing at home, eagerly waiting for a chance to take it out to the range, but while holding it up to the light I just noticed that the front sight pin is missing... light shines right through the hole.
Should I be concerned about recoil knocking the front sight out?
I'm planning to replace the sights with the speed beez fiber optic sights (front and rear), so I'll be working on the gun anyway, but wondering if I should try to source a pin before I start shooting, or if friction or locktite will be enough. Anyone experienced this before?
Regards,
G
