Default Model 10 and 64 morning trade

Picked these 2 up this morning doing a little trading.
Model 10-7 with 2" pinned barrel and a model 64-5.
Both nice and tight, just need a good cleaning which will give me something to do this afternoon.

Two of my favorite K-frames, and one with a short barrel to boot. Very nice!

Two of my favorite also.
They were the staple of the Law enforcement agencies for many years. S&W got many accolades about those two models. The model 10 by the LEO's side has many stories to tell. As does it's stainless steel brother.

I had a short barrel model 10 many years I sure wish I would've kept, been wanting another for years. don't see them to often in my area anymore. Sure was glad to run across this one. I carried a model 64 just like the one here, it covered many miles for a few years riding courier for a armored van line.

Yes, an excellent trading day for you. Congratulations. I too am a bit fan of the Model 10 and 64. I have three variations of the 10 and 64 but my two inch 64 is just exquisite in accuracy and smoothness. I hope to run across a nice two inch 10 someday.

Since everyone is sharing their 10's and 64's, I would like to share my 64-5!
