Question Jog My Memory!

My second S&W revolver that I purchased around 1984 and later sold like a dumb S*&% was chambered in .357, round butt, and had the heavy or "bull" barrel which was very short. 2" or less (1.86" comes to mind for some reason?) I am thinking this was a model 13? Anyone out there with any other guesses or a memory better than mine of such a revolver?

Thanks!

If it was a J frame (5 shot), probably a model 60-9, introduced in 1986.

Pretty sure it was six shot and was purchased prior to 1986

Model 13 was a 3 round butt or 4 inch barrel w/ square butt.

The Model 19 had a 2 1/2 inch barrel with a round butt.

Do you recall if it was fixed or adjustable sights?

The Model 19/66 (blue/stainless) is 2 1/2" with adjustable sights

While the Model 13/65 (blue/stainless) would be a 3" fixed sight revolver

I thought it was fixed sights but it was a long time ago. The two prominent features that I do remember for sure was the very short heavy barrel and being chambered for .357 as it was snappy!
