You're right, we got left out completely!!Had mine out last week shooting it some, going out again this weekend with it. It was a gift to me from a very good friend.

I came with the finger groove grips (which I put away), because these feel so much better to my hand.

I too have a "short" one to help balance out the numbers so far.

Its also a "lady."

The link below does a good job of educating one on the 631 S&W's.

I think most if not all were made in 1990, but I'm no expert on them.

A number of years ago, a forum member offered to sell me his 4" M631. I passed and have been kicking myself ever since.
