Default Model 29 4" barrel question

Did SW ever make a 4" Model 29 FULL UNDERLUG 4" barrel perhaps with a pinned front sight?

I have a 29-4 that I had a 5" full underlug barrel put on a few years back.

It appears my competition season will not take place this year which gives me some time to think about next year.

I can only use 4" max length revolvers (which I use a 686 and 586 as a back up for the past 10+ years) and I would like to try my luck with an Nframe.

4" barrel is only a thought at this point. I would like a black pinned front sight for target use.

here is my 5". YUK on the rubbers. I have some Ahrends but currently working on this piece as the floating hand needs replacement and the front locking bolt needs to be fitted as the previous one was too short.

A 29 with a 4 inch full underlug barrel, not that I know of. You might fins a 4 inch 627. Love your 29 BTW.

629 V-Comp. If they count the length of the compensator then no.

What about a 4" Mod. 629?

With "lite" .44 magnum loads or .44 specials, it may be a candidate.
