Default 625-2 3” 45acp

Trying to figure the value on a 625-2 3” 45acp.
Has the original box, papers, cleaning kit, and sight tool.
Has less than 100 rounds fired. Very slight cylinder ring. Other than that, not a mark.

TIA
Best,
Gary

Sounds like at least a grand, maybe more with docs & papers.

With factory rubber grips I would say $1100ish. If it is a Lew Horton with wood targets it could go for closer to $2k but at least $1300.

Seems like any S&W revolver with a 3" barrel is going for a premium these days. I own 625-2 (Model of 1988, fairly early production) with a 5" barrel, and it couldn't be bought for a grand. I would imagine the 3" would be going for significantly more, by at least a couple hundred or more. By the way it is a great gun. One of the very few I own that doesn't have a pin in the barrel and is less than 50 years old.

I paid roughly 800 for one about a year ago with modest use and no nothing with it. I would say roughly $1000, maybe a tad more.

Over a grand is the new normal. $800-1k is a good deal, and ANY 3" N Frame under $800 will sell very fast.

They averaged about $1,600 5 years ago when I was trying to source one for a "Woods-Gun" in the Lew Horton original configuration...

This is anecdotal, not objective, but subjective based on my personal experience. While I have owned many and still have some 3" LH's, the 45 acp variant SEEMED nowhere near the same prevalence on an already uncommon distribution run. I am apparently too lazy after a 12 hour day to research this in the books, but if you want/need help in this capacity, PM me and I will circle back, but it might take time.
